What is your Achievement since January 2016 ?

What is your Achievement since January 2016 ?

Written by: Christopher Torralba ( Aspiring blogger )

Naalala mo ba nung jan 1,2016 kung anong new year's resolution mo? or anung gusto mong baguhin sa sarili mo may naumpisahan ka na ba? or natapos na yung resolution mo a day after ng new year celebration?

Well you know, creating a plan  for different goals is not easy!  as I always said it needs a lot of work to accomplished something noble.

" one act is better than a thousand intention "

and one of the main reason why we don't take it seriously  kasi mababaw lamang ang kahulugan nito sa atin di siya ganung kalalim ang piang huhugutan natin sa mga goals na ito and if you can eat  three times a day you have a good paying job, you have a house and car and you have a little money in the bank  well it's good than nothing  but do you think all people will settle just in these way? NO! because every individual have a different types of goals that they are working for it everyday

they have a depth in their hearts with these goals whatever it is they will work and pray that one day they will be different from yesterday.

I just want to share my personal achievement that I hope you may learn something even how big or how simple the achievement  is.

This is the following stuff that makes myself busy for the Q1 ( First Quarter of 2016 )

* I've learned the basics of photo shop

* I've finish to read one of the book of Robert kiyosaki called cash flow quadrant

* I've passed my licensure exam last January at Insurance commission as a financial advisor and I am     excited to serve my fellow men.

* Half way through in reading the book gift of my wife " A husband after Gods own heart "

* I earn my target income in my buy and sell business through online  within  three months prior for the whole year and I  am happy for how much it is.

* I'm enrolled in an online class where we can learn something new about modern skills that the information age is offering

* And now I am starting to study how to make my own blog site and it is pretty exciting!

This is  me and  it's just my personal example and how about you my friend? if you don't like to learn new things and ideas you will become stagnant  from your ideas and beliefs from the last year that past already learning new things is an exciting thing to do it doesn't need to be expensive some of those are free to learn.

And for other big people and hyper millionaires it is just a simple thing but they know how to appreciate it but for me that I knew that I am just a simple man it is a big deal to me that I learned something new every day.

It builds my own portfolio as the day goes by and the thing is! it's not just an achievement it is a lovable task to be done that my teachers never thought in me in my school days and I happy for what I do and much better if you will share it to others.

I will give you one powerful tip that I learned on the ship we have so called

SMS ( safety management system ) and I don't care about it! as long as I go home and my body parts is complete and well functioning  this manual tells too much blah blah ( in my own opinion ) and I don't believe all seafarers deal with this seriously as long they know how to protect their selves, the thing that captures my idea in that manual is this Phrase...

"  PLAN WHAT YOU DO! AND DO WHAT YOU PLAN "

It's just an easy word or thought but these phrase helps me to plan for my goals whatever it is when you want to achieve something.

Today you must plan first and wrote it even in a piece of paper or if your good in your gadgets you can wrote it in any file such as Ms Excel or any notepad in this way after a day had passed you will realized you have written some goals that will tell to your mind everyday " DO WHAT YOU PLAN "

My friend I am happy not just because the absence of sadness but because every day before I woke up, I tell to myself I will decide to be happy today! that's why happiness is a decision to make and it is not your destiny to enjoy the sadness.

Learning new things and ideas can give you more opportunity  everyday

God bless to your Journey...

Cardinal Buoy TV--Episode 1: Why financial planning is important?

Are you tired of your Adobo and Sinigang?

Written by: Christopher ( Family chef )

Did you know that Cooking and food preparation is also a work of art?

Art does not stay alone through paintings, sketching and sculpture actually every stuff that we love to do can be considered an art.

Actually my personal opinion in cooking and food preparation is simply like this.

" You don't need to be a chef or a cook for you to prepare a quality, healthy and delicious food "

One of my favorite stuff to do is cooking! two years later I felt when I got home I prepared and cook the food actually the same way as before and there is no problem with that since every culture has the authentic and national food recipe to brag with other nationalities but I felt one day when I am preparing my list for the whole week menu I tell to myself

" adobo ( a chicken or pork meat that using a vinegar and soy sauce ingredient and some other spices to be added ) and sinigang ( a fish or meat soup with sour flavour with some fresh vegetables ) again?

well I might end up eating and enjoying our national recipe such as sinigang, adobo, sisig, lechon and many more I ask myself why I don't cook a recipe that I never prepared before? and for me it sounds exciting! because I will not prepare a menu the same way since my beautiful wife eats' a lot of Filipino foods I need to think more menus that I know she might eat and enjoy.

Did you also felt when most  of us we are eating outside like restaurant or fast food that we love we are so excited to eat and to enjoy the food that they will serve to us so that is the thing that gives me the idea and ask myself why I don't prepare a menu which is fresh and enjoyable to eat together with my family and that's what I did, every time I got home after a months of work abroad ( since I'm a seafarer ) every menu that I've eaten on board and seen on TV or in the internet which is delicious I'll make sure ill wrote it on my food menu list! so that when I got home I have another exciting menu for my family to share it with.

So here I will share to you some benefits of preparing and cooking a food menu which you might have an interest.

1. Bonding:

When you go to supermarket and grocery store you are excited to buy the new ingredients that you never bought before likewise when you are preparing for it, it is a good opportunity to have a bonding with your family to start preparing for the desired menu.

Bonding with the family is one of the best thing you cannot bought by money bonding enrich the relationship of the family just imagine if you will cook an adobo do you think who will be with you to prepare for it? but how about preparing your own concept of burger and fries? or any menu that you are excited with, does is it make sense to your family members to be excited to help you in preparing?

2. Cooking Skills:

The more you cook new recipes the more your family and loved ones will appreciate your food they will appreciate every menu that you cook because you put an effort to study and train yourself to be a good cook and you add value in your cooking skills and they will not end up telling it to your back saying " same menu again and again "

 3. Eating is also glorified in the bible:

As king Solomon said there are two most important things in this world that man should enjoy  " eat, drink & have faith "

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God

1st Corinthians 10:31 (King James Version )

have you notice? three things in life is the most important because if you don't eat and drink you will die in hunger and thirst if you don't have faith you don't know where to go when you die other things is just additional to human life for us to fulfill this so called life so since one of the most important thing in this short life is eating so why we don't teach our selves to discover new recipes so that our family will enjoy the time that we spent when we are eating together.

4. Healthy and Enjoyable to eat:

On my last vacation on 2015 around November I prepared my own simple concept of burger and fries

and since my wife is a manager in well-known fast food chain in the Philippines I know that she is too familiar in eating a burger and who among you doesn't know about burger and fries? When the time I am preparing at home I saw my wife when she got home from work she is smiling and she said

"wow burger " and I became more excited because I know the fact that she is excited to the snack that I am preparing and after I've finished my preparation I am also excited because my little daughter chrislyn initiate to prepare our small folded table that we use when we are eating together while watching on our television.

I am happy because everyone is excited to eat because I put some effort to prepare a meal for them so that we can have a bonding through eating.

Preparing a food is not just about eating it is a relationship that builds the family values.

If you want to learn more recipe for your family start now by surfing on the social media.

I may suggest the following well known chef around the world that we can have something new to prepare in our dine in table.

Boy logro ( our very own kusina master )

Gordon Ramsey

Nigella Lawson

Jamie Oliver

and many more well-known chef that I did not mention.

I will assure you your cooking skills will never be the same again.

Thank you and I hope I have shared something to you today

God Bless..

( Sowing is not easy )

Written by: Christopher ( backyard farmer )

When we say sowing the first thing that comes in our mind is a typical  seed or planting a crops and as I observe in many different aspects  of life.

Sowing or planting can be one of the best analogy we may follow along our life journey whether it is literal sowing or sowing in other aspects of life like faith, relationships, career and other related life events.

I would like to share some sorts of ideas that I learned from my mentors out there that I hope you may add it to your wisdom and knowledge.

Planting a literal seed:

We all know from seed to harvest is not easy as we think enjoying food in our tables is simply came from the hard laborers of the farm itself from preparation of quality soil to seed germination until it bears it fruits.

saying a little thanks to our farmers is a big gesture for every consumer  planting also at your spare backyard or even in a small pot at a time will helps a lot. and don't forget when the time you sow you absolutely waiting for the time of harvest sowing seed is like a human life that needs to grow and enrich its highest potential.

Human Flesh is a cycle:

When a person died, their bodies will be buried at the ground after many months the flesh will be eaten up by the soil in short they eat the decomposing body to take as nutrients for the soil will become more fertile let's say a man dig and plant a seed of a tree to that pit and after a couple of months it bears fruit the nutrients came from a decomposing body enrich the soil that gives the tree a fruit after this man eaten up the fruit and died a year later this man buried also near at the same ground and will come back in the form of cycle, as you see that sowing and harvesting is a cycle the thing is when the time you sow is the time you know that  we are waiting for some harvest and as you follow the examples if you don't sow you will don't expect to harvest that's the analogy!

It has been written also in the bible it's either you sow a good or evil you will your harvest!

For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Galatians 6:7-9

Planting your Relationships:

We are not good enough to everyone even in our own family like our spouse and children's even we love them very much still we commit some mistakes and evil because of human imperfection and sin fall, but as we dig deeper and continue to sow goodness and faithfulness we know there is always a tie  of harvest.

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

Galatians 6:9

Sowing your finances:

Preparing seed of finances is not easy task, it needs a lot of work and determination to attain it's true value.

Learn how to plant first in the mind by means of Reading books and attending financial seminars and continues learning is one of the best starting point in financial management you should know that there's a  time to sow and there is also some bad weather that everyone will encounter during cropping season but if you manage your finances well you know you have something in the future because you planted it before.

Sow and Reap is just like an easy word to say but actually it's not easy to apply, only the brave and patient individuals are the most qualified to reach the harvest time.
